As the nights get colder and winter draws in, there’s no better way to finish a dark Thursday evening, than in the warming treatment room of The Landmark, London. As I stepped into the hotel lift to the basement, the doors opened to a fresh aroma of the spa – a welcoming sense of relaxation.
I visited the Landmark to experience the luxurious VOYA Total Massage Journey. A total massage junkie, I was looking forward to feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It wasn’t long before I was lying on the heated treatment bed, with my therapist chatting through the benefits of seaweed on the body and luxurious oils that I would be experiencing.
Beginning with a full body scrub, the treatment awakens the skin from top-to-toe completely setting you up to embark on a voyage of relaxation. Next, VOYA’s signature citrus-scented oil is massaged into the body. With particular focus placed on relieving aches and pains in the body, the treatment incorporates stretches and deep tissue massage techniques to ensure muscles feel loose and the body rejuvenated. Once your muscle tension has been melted away through massage, the luxurious treatment finishes with the application of lotion to condition the skin and complete the relaxation.
