February was definitely a month of love from press and influencers for our clients.  We’ve chosen two standout press clippings that exemplify our Spa PR team’s talent in meeting client briefs as well as acknowledging the noteworthy runners-up.

 

Moddershall Oaks in National World (Online)

Objective: increase awareness of Moddershall Oaks as the ideal winter spa break destination within its catchment area.

Tactic: Spa PR researched its contacts to select one lifestyle writer whose articles are regularly syndicated across a wide network.  We then invited the journalist for a review visit highlighting key brand messages around winter short breaks and including relevant imagery.

Results: An indepth article on her short break which appeared in National World which has a unique visitor rate of over 2 million.  This article was then syndicated, resulting in 61 articles and reaching a potential audience of over 18 million.

 

Celf in The Sunday Times Style and Times Online (Print & Online)

Objective: Target top tier national press which set trends and also influence other journalists.

Tactic: We took a multi-tactic approach.  This included inviting the journalist to an online launch event where the product was showcased; sampling them with the product plus an Oral B iO toothbrush, presenting different story lines to them based on the innovation the device brings to market.

Results: Celf was included in  the Beauty Pages of The Sunday Times Style and Times Online in an article “The 20 Best new skincare products to buy now”.  This reached a potential audience of over 32 million and attracted a notable increase in sales to the client’s website.
