This month has been brimming with significant events and activities, from the UK’s General Election and the Euros to the Olympics. Alongside these, we’ve embraced Plastic Free July, attended the UK Spa Association’s summer networking event, and hosted influencer workshops. The Spa PR team has seized every opportunity to highlight our exceptional clients during this exciting period.
We’ve chosen two standout press clippings from the month that exemplify our Spa PR team’s talent in meeting client briefs as well as acknowledging the noteworthy runners-up.
The Quay Spa in Coast Magazine
Objective: To promote The Quay Hotel’s new spa and reach an affluent target audience that enjoys coastal stays.
Tactic: Identify key titles to cover the launch of The Quay Hotel’s new spa, emphasising its relevancy to their audiences.
Results: The Quay Hotel & Spa was included in Coast magazine’s monthly guide to great things happening on our shores including full details of the spa, three colourful images and a call to action via the website. Coast magazine has a potential reach of over 126,000.
The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel in Velvet Magazine
Objective: To increase awareness of The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel in the surrounding area to encourage spa day enquiries.
Tactic: Spa PR has developed close relationships with local Suffolk press and this includes Velvet magazine. We discussed arranging a fashion shoot at The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel in return for a six page feature and content.
Results: A six page feature plus the front cover in the summer issue which included stunning pictures of the spa reaching a local, female focused audience of over 105,000.
