June may have been short but we had a month full of new products, Spa events and press meetings.
We’ve chosen two standout press clippings from the month that exemplify our Spa PR team’s talent in meeting client briefs as well as acknowledging the noteworthy runners-up.
The Spa at Bedford Lodge in Woman’s Own
Objective: To reach a core spa audience who are loyal print magazine readers and establish The Spa at Bedford Lodge as one of the UK’s leading luxury spas.
Tactic: Identify print press writing spa features and invite them to experience the spa and review. As a call to action recommend a specific package so results can be measured.
Results: The Spa at Bedford Lodge was included in Woman Own’s ‘Spa Heaven’ feature which reached an audience of over 198,000 people. It also included an influential ‘Book now’ package.
Armathwaite Hall in OK!
Objective: To promote Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa as one of the best hotels in the Lake District.
Tactic: Spa PR targeted its close travel contacts and issued an exciting invitation to key media. This resulted in a number of press visits including one from OK! Magazine.
Results: A full page article with images covering many different aspects of the hotel and reaching a potential female focused audience of over 150,000.
