At Spa PR, we’ve had the privilege of working with Westlab for over a decade, and its always a pleasure to collaborate with a brand so aligned with our ethos on the importance of wellness and self-care. In November, we had the opportunity to help host the brand’s first group in-person event in years – a special moment for us and for them!
With the launch of the brand’s new Wellbeing Range and its exciting Dissolve Your Day Away campaign we were looking forward to creating something special. This wasn’t just a product launch; it was a chance to officially thank the brand’s supporters in the industry, show the magic of face-to-face connections that come with events and create an experience centred on wellness.
The day began with an early morning welcome at Spa PR HQ, complete with coffee and pastries. We then hopped in our transfer where we were whisked out of London, to the serene surroundings of Champneys Tring. On arrival, refreshing welcome drinks were served and guests had the opportunity to connect and engage ahead of a day of wellness.
The itinerary was carefully curated to deliver a balance of education, relaxation and inspiration. Guests heard from Penny Hamilton, Westlab’s Head of Product, who presented the brand’s story and innovative products in the new range. This was followed by a campaign overview from Marketing Director, Katie Blythe, who brought the Dissolve Your Day Away message to life. The morning then transitioned into an interactive Happiness Workshop, led by the brilliant Kady, the Empowerment Queen, which perfectly resonated with the group and aligned with Westlab’s vision of holistic wellness.
A delicious sit-down lunch then followed before guests were treated to a serene Sound Bath session, allowing them to truly “dissolve the day away”. The afternoon concluded with free time to indulge in the luxurious spa facilities at Champneys, offering the perfect opportunity to unwind and fully embrace relaxation. By 6pm, everyone left on a transfer back to London feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to share the experience and products with their audience.
We were pleased to have secured a brilliant guest list for the event. We carefully invited a mix of influential journalists, celebrities and content creators to ensure that Westlab’s message reached a wide segment of its target audiences. Attendees included journalists from The Sun, Grazia, Closer and Woman & Home, as well as influencers like Anne Twist (Harry Styles’ mum) and Emily Miller. Reality stars such as Yasmine from Made in Chelsea and Daisy from Below Deck also joined the day.
This has resulted in press and social coverage reaching an audience of over 6 million people.
What’s more, this event was a beautiful reminder of why we love in-person gatherings. They offer a unique opportunity to connect on a deeper level, spark meaningful conversations, and allow full immersion in a brand’s story.
We’re looking forward to hosting another successful event for Westlab in 2025!
