Brief

The goal of the campaign was to raise awareness of the beautiful new day spa at Breedon Priory and attract bookings for day spa treatments within a six month period.

Approach

The strategy involved curating a story line which enabled The Spa at Breedon Priory to compete with the UK’s leading spa destinations, despite offering just day spa. We generated press attention through news releases highlighting the spa’s unique offerings such as the private Hideaway Spa and Tranquillity Gardens, securing coverage in influential national online media titles to reach the spa’s target market and boost organic search, and entering and securing finalist positions in national spa awards.

The news releases created a buzz around the spa’s unique features, highlighting the luxurious amenities and personalized experiences that awaited every guest. These releases were carefully crafted to appeal to the spa’s target market and were distributed to influential media titles to maximize the spa’s reach.

We also entered the spa and secured finalist positions in national spa awards, recognizing the spa’s exceptional service and unique offerings. The awards included Boutique Spa of the Year Award in Professional Beauty Awards 2023, among others. These accolades helped establish the spa as a top destination for luxury day spa treatments, and attracted a growing number of repeat spa guests.

Results

The campaign was a resounding success generating significant interest and resulting in 34 press articles, 33 social media posts, and 25 web links, reaching an audience of over 730 million people.

The spa’s unique offerings, exceptional service, and recognition in national spa awards helped establish it as a top destination for luxury day spa treatments, attracting a growing number of bookings and repeat guests.
