Brief

To launch Newmarket’s first luxury spa and attract treatment, day spa and spa break enquiries

Approach

The strategy has focussed on involving local press and influencers from concept. The day spa market is crucial to the success of most spa businesses so it was important to bring them on board to help educate the local market on the benefits of the spa and its role in the local community. A national media relations programme targeting high circulation women’s press in print and online ran alongside this.

A pre-launch press reception, hard hat tour, and VIP event was organised including a photo-call with a relevant influencer for this horse racing community, Jilly Cooper and ESPA’s own celebrity, Susan Harmsworth MBE.

Our work for The Spa at Bedford Lodge continues with a national and regional media relations programme plus monthly content creation to maintain brand awareness and support the build of the business.
