Dr. Bronner’s ‘The King of Soaps’

News

It’s not every day that a cult soap brand which aims to change the world is profiled on one of the UK’s favourite television programs, but this week we were delighted to place Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Bar Soap on This Morning for their Tried & Tested feature. In a segment on the rise of bar soaps, Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes were joined by Sarah Jossel, Beauty Director at Sunday Times Style, who talked the presenting duo through her pick of the best bar soaps on the market.

First to be tested was Dr. Bronner’s, the natural soap brand which Sarah described as ‘the king of soaps’. Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Bar Soap was praised for its natural credentials before Phillip tested the Peppermint bar himself. Impressed, Phillip remarked that the soap was ‘very lovely, very lathery’. Enriched with organic coconut oil, organic hemp seed oil and organic jojoba oil, it’s no wonder Phillip was impressed with its creamy texture.

Dr. Bronner’s saw a 30% increase in sales of bar soaps in 2018, a factor that is likely down to consumers looking for more eco-friendly products with minimal packaging and multiple uses. It’s not just customers that can’t get enough of Dr. Bronner’s Bar Soaps either: we’ve received press coverage on the bar soaps from hundreds of titles including Mail on Sunday’s YOU Magazine, Best Magazine, the Daily Express, The Sunday Times Magazine and The Huffington Post.
