Working with excellent product brands gives us plenty of opportunity to get creative here at Spa PR. Swiss nail and beauty brand Mavala offers the gold standard in nail colour, but with over 50 years in the nail industry, Mavala has also become internationally recognised as the world leader in natural nail care. Mavala’s care solutions that target every nail issue imaginable are what really set Mavala apart from other nail brands. That’s why, along with Mavala’s Nail Health Expert Lynn Gray, we took Mavala on a tour of the TI Media office, giving personalised nail health prescriptions to the beauty teams of the country’s top selling beauty and lifestyle titles.
Upon arrival at the TI Media office in Canary Wharf, we set up a Pop-Up Nail Clinic complete with the brand’s best-selling colours, a manicure station and a selection of Mavala’s top nail care products. Whether dryness, flaking, breaking or ridged nails were the problem, the Mavala Pop-Up Nail Clinic had a solution. With seven journalists across different titles having a nail health analysis and personalised manicure, the Pop-Up Nail Clinic gave our guests an excellent chance to pick the brains of a true nail care expert.
First, we met with the team who are responsible for all beauty content across TI Media’s Weekly Women’s Titles. Compiling the best in beauty across Woman, Now, Chat, Woman’s Weekly and Woman’s Own, TI Media’s weekly magazines are some of the country’s most well-read titles. TI Media’s Beauty Writer suffered from nails that were flaking and would break easily, despite having used nail hardeners. The problem, Lynn revealed, was not that nails needed hardening, but that they were severely dehydrated. Lynn prescribed Mavaflex to bond the nail’s delicate layers together and increase flexibility in the nail.
The journalists that followed were suffering from all kinds of nail problems, from dry cuticles to ridges and everything in between. Luckily for Lynn, Mavala’s product range boasts a vast selection of products to cater for all nails. Beautiful hands? We’ve got it nailed!
