Dr. Bronner’s is a brand you just fall in love with. It is as ethical as you can get with its organic ingredients, fair trade practise and quirky family history and labelling.
We embarked on a major national PR campaign focussed on Dr. Bronner’s 18 in 1 uses. A viral campaign linked Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap to its bad boy rapper fan, Eminem. Through a celebrity news agent the story “Eminem uses pest spray to wash his teeth” went viral attracting over 66 million hits around the globe including The New York Times.
The Macdonald Hotels Spa Collection
As the UK's largest independently owned hotel group, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts had already established a strong presence in the travel industry. However, as part of its ongoing strategic development, the company wanted to increase awareness of its spa and wellness offering.
We officially launched 'The Spa Collection' as a new entity to leverage interest in the market. To mark the launch we highlighted the £2.3million refurbished Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa in Stirling as the flagship spa property shortly followed by the development of Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel.
We continue to operate a proactive consumer campaign around the Macdonald Hotels Spa Collection building awareness on a national and regional level to benefit both spa break and spa day business.
The UK’s First Eco Spa
Every business is different but we identified that Titanic Spa had one major point of difference that could elevate it above any other spa. The owners of Titanic Spa had gone to great lengths and expense to incorporate major environmental facilities into the building at a time when the word 'eco' was only just gaining popularity.
Our positioning of Titanic Spa as the UK’s No 1 eco spa has been instrumental in its development as one of the most successful spa businesses of the last decade.
Luxury organic beauty from the sea
With the increasing demand for luxury organic and green beauty, we knew instantly that VOYA was a must-have brand. A family-run business which developed from Ireland’s first seaweed baths in the bay of Sligo, VOYA takes you on a journey to discover some of the sea’s most powerful ingredients, harnessed in treatments and products to leave your skin in its best possible condition.
We created a marine and ethical themed campaign around VOYA targeting national newspapers, supplements and glossy magazines, meeting with our key media contacts to personally deliver the VOYA brand and message. Press trips to Sligo, pop-up spas, luxury partnerships and ambassador support have helped to generate significant word-of-mouth around the brand resulting in double figure growth year on year.
Spa guest engagement
With 5 award winning spas in beautiful natural forest locations, Aqua Sana Spas at Center Parcs attract regular spa guests but, how do you increase their loyalty to the brand? Following indepth research by Center Parcs’ marketing team we introduced a high level content plan across the spas’ 4 main social platforms supported by a sustained regional media relations campaign. This has been followed by the implementation of a Spa Advisory Panel to harness customer involvement in the development of Aqua Sana.
